Training is given in the MERN Stack – MongoDB, Express.JS, ReactJS and NodeJS.
Students begin by studying Unix and Git – the basic fundamentals of any developer.
From there, you will learn HTML and CSS which are the absolute must for all web developers.
Then you progress to learning JavaScript – from the complete basics to expert level knowledge.
Once you are done with JS, you move to learning Node, MongoDB and the Express framework.
These are the backend modules that ensure you are proficient in complete backend
technologies.
Finally, you learn ReactJS library to build frontend apps and combine it with backend
technologies to build full stack web applications that make your eligible to apply to companies
anywhere in the world.
How long is the course?
The course takes you about 6 months to complete. You have to dedicate an average of 6-8
hours per day for 5-6 days a week consistently.
You will have access to daily doubt clearing sessions, numerous assignments and exercises for
each and every topic, and code reviews at the end of each module by the mentor.
You will also have access to the entire student community at AltCampus where you can interact
and clear your doubts anytime.
There are 2 types of learning modes –
• Cohort
Cohorts are groups of students learning together with daily tasks and deadlines. Maximum
cohort size will be 15 students so you will have a good peer group to study together and clear
doubts and also help each other in the journey.
• Self paced
As the name suggests, you do the course at your own pace. You will still have access to the
community and mentors, but you do it at your own speed and comfort.
