CMO Kangra Dr Gurudarshan Gupta, along with BMO Gopalpur Dr Minaxi Gupta visited CSKHPKV Palampur containment zone, and apprised the VC and authorities of the SOPs, testing camp in health center continued for second day with Team from Gopalpur and Palampur Hospital.
About 190 tests were conducted today, and 130 tests were conducted yesterday by the teams from Health Department. Over 50 students have tested positive and results of the remaining are awaited.
It is learnt from reliable sources that some university students raised slogans in the campus raising some issues. Some students denied to undergo CORONA test, but university administration managed to get them tested.
It is also learnt that the doctor in University Health Centre is on leave.
When asked, Dr. Hirday Pal Singh, Joint Director, CSK HPKV revealed that no such incident of raising slogans was in his knowledge.
