With this understanding, Viveka Foundations organized a virtual workshop for parents on importance of ‘NEEV’ – One week students’ Orientation on 20th March 2022.

 

The Keynote Orator, Founder Principal & Founder Director Ms Kusum Rana apprised the Parents of the contents of ‘NEEV ’
The workshop aimed to elaborate on the need to bridge the gap and learning lapses among students owing to prolonged lockdown. It also aims to encourage participation of all students in ‘NEEV’ from 23rd – 29th March’2022 for classes 1st to 8th.
The workshop was held in two sessions – First Session for the parents of primary classes (1st – 4th) and second session for secondary classes (5th – 8th). During the workshop, emphasis was laid on the activities being planned for the ‘Neev’ – One week students’ Orientation. Key Staff members of the Orientation Program elaborated the contents and significance of the Whole Educational Developmental Process.


Shri Ganesha’ of the Virtual workshop is initiated with the ‘Ganesh Vandana’ by Ms Savita Rana,TGT Hindi, Viveka Foundations.

It was followed by virtual presentation on ‘Saraswati Vandana’ by the choir of Viveka Foundations and their mentor Mr Akshay Kumar.
School Founder Principal & Founder Director Mrs Kusum Rana gave the intricate views on the need to initiate – ‘NEEV’ – A One Week Students’ Program for the beloved students and to embark upon this new phase together with parents/guardians to overcome the challenges of the prolonged lockdown owing to the Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure an integrated effort towards the growth of our children.
Highlights of ‘NEEV’ were presented by various faculty members of Viveka Foundations:

Speaker & faculty member of Viveka Foundations, Ms Shailza Pun Karan, elaborated the co-relation among different subjects with the virtual tour to Indus Saraswati Valley civilization.

It was followed by the highlights by faculty member, Ms Sonal Chambial on ‘Tour of India for Kids’.

She explained on how self-made acronyms like ‘COWMA – for Time Meridian’ help students to memorize different names and phrases. Adjacent to it was the elaboration on ‘Environment & Development’ by faculty member, Mr Parveen Kumar.
The key Speaker of the workshop, Mrs Kusum Rana ,who has earned the experience of more than 31 years in the field of Education elaborated on the importance of ‘Language Skills’.
Speaker and Faculty member Mrs Manisha Aggarwal effectively explained about the creative way of understanding stories and words with the help of ‘Katputli – Chikku & his friends’. Further a brief presentation of ‘ASL – listening & speaking Skills’ was presented by Mrs Ruchika Gupta. Adding to the queue, faculty member, Mrs Savita Rana gave presentation on ‘ Hindi Bhasha ka Kaushal Vikas – a way to boost the ‘Matriya Bhasha –Hindi’.
The event was succeeded by Viveka’s versatile faculty member, Ms Neera Chauhan, who went into detail on correlation of Ragas with Reiki Therapy & other therapies to cure various human ailments.
Further , faculty member, Ms Monika Thakur introduced the key points of using and learning ABACUS skills. A brief introduction on correlation of VED with medicinal plants was given by Ms Monika Dhiman. Ms Mahima Arora, introduced different ways to enhance mathematical skills of students.


Further, Founder Principal & Founder Director Ms Kusum Rana elaborated on different aspects of ‘NEEV’ like ‘SUPPW’; Eco Outdoor Activities; FETE’2022; Educational Tours and Karate.
More than 200 parents attended the workshop making it a huge success. The workshop came to end with the feedback session by parents and ‘Vote of Thanks’ by the Principal, Viveka Foundations Dr Mousami Thapa
