University Teacher’s Protest wearing black badges enters 20th Day for Implementation of 7th UGC Pay Scale : Dr. Janardan Singh, President
Situation may worsen if Govt. does not respond positively
HPAUTA and VASTA associations of CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyala Palampur also observed protest from 1.30 to 2.00 pm in front of University Library. It was 20th Day of protest for immediate implementation of 7th UGC pay scale in the state.
Teachers have been wearing their black badge through out the office time.
Meeting of all universities and colleges teachers associations joint action committee was held yesterday night at 9pm where Dr Janardan Singh, Dr J S Saklani, Dr S Kaushal, Dr Zinta, Dr R K Chahota, Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Amit Singhla, Dr R L Sharma were present.
During the meeting, it was decided that we will be continuing our protest as such till the assurance of Chief Minister to JAC Executive.
During the protest, Dr Janardan Singh, Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Praveen Kumar Sharma and Dr N K Sankhyan expressed their views regarding further course of action.
