31st Day of Teachers’ Protest at CSKHPKV Palampur
Teachers of Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University Teachers Association (HPAUTA) and Veterinary and Animal Science Teachers Associations ( VASTA) of CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyala Palampur observed protest during lunch time from 1.30 to 2.00 pm. Teachers were with black badge during office time.
Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Parveen Sharma and Dr Poonam shared updates and expressed their view points regarding suspending all academic activities from 28th June onwards if agenda of UGC pay scale is not announced today. It was also apprised members that Punjab Chief Minister has announced 7th UGC pay scale for the teachers of universities and colleges in the budget session. In the light of announcement in Punjab, HP Government should also make announcement for implementation of UGC pay scale since 2016.
