Suspended all acadamic activities in CSKHPKV since 28th June 2022 – Dr Janardan Singh, President, HPAUTA

Teachers of Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University Teachers Association (HPAUTA) and Veterinary and Animal Science Teachers Associations ( VASTA) of CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyala Palampur were on 32nd Day of protest during lunch time from 1.30 to 2.00 pm. Teachers were with black badge during office time. Teachers were very disappointed as their ugc pay scale agenda item was not included in the cabinet meeting resulted in no decision or announcement.

During today’s protest, Dr Janardan Singh, Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Parveen Sharma, Dr SPTyagi, Dr Poonam, Dr Virender Pathak, Dr S K Rana, Dr DK Banyal, Dr Akhilesh Sharma, Dr Dhanbir Singh, Dr Ankur and other members expressed their views regarding decision taken by the joint action committee of all universities and colleges teachers associations after non-presentation of ugc 7th pay scale agenda item in the cabinet meeting held on 25th June 2022. After thorough deliberation, it was decided that we should respect the decision of JAC as such. Accordingly, notice of token protest by suspending all teaching research and extension activities alongwith examinations for three days from 28th to 30th June was served to the university authorities.
