Serious Efforts Being Made to Remove Stray Animals from Roads: Gokul Butel

Chief Adviser for Innovation, Digital Technology, and Governance to the Chief Minister, Gokul Butel, held a meeting with officials from the Animal Husbandry Department regarding the issues of stray animals in the Palampur Livelihood Rest House.


He discussed the problems associated with stray animals with the officials of the Animal Husbandry Department and gave directions to work towards a permanent solution to the problem.

He emphasized that accidents are occurring due to stray animals on the roads, and they are also causing damage to the farmers’ fields.
Gokul discussed the status of district cowsheds and cow sanctuaries with animal husbandry officials, as well as gathered information about the number of animals kept in them. He expressed concern about cows being on the roads and mentioned that the government is making special efforts to address the issue of stray animals.
He instructed the officials to increase the number of animals in cowsheds and cow sanctuaries in order to provide shelter to stray animals.


On this occasion, Assistant Director of Cattle Protection, Dr. Anish, presented a report to Gokul Butel regarding the removal of stray animals from the roads.”
