Growing Probe: CSKHPKV Vice Chancellor Under Scrutiny for Diverting Consolidated Funds – Around ₹17 Lakh for Abvp affiliated with agrivision Event, ₹3 Lakh for Panchjanya Magazine Advertisements
When someone needs to be deprived of their rights, they can be manipulated and coerced with sweet words to break permission, but when it comes to benefiting desires, no permission is needed, especially if it involves the son of a chief priest.
An externally funded project, which was approved for only 3 years, ended 2 years ago. The catch is that as soon as such projects conclude, the services of temporary employees hired under the project are terminated, despite being clearly mentioned in advertisements and selection letters. However, if specific individuals were appointed temporarily within the project, their services could be kept intact even after the project’s completion, by cleverly finding ways to provide them salary benefits. This leads to the question of whether after the project’s conclusion, funding from the institution’s income is given to sustain the terminated project and maintain jobs for favoured individuals, as stated by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harinder Kumar Chaudhary.
Interestingly, those whose jobs were sustained from the university’s income were not working in scientific positions required for the project’s continuity.
These individuals were kept for clerical tasks and were not even associated with scientific work that was essential for the project.
The scientific work in the project could have been carried out even without these positions, as those conducting scientific work within the project were already permanently employed within the university’s department.
Hence, there was no need to sustain these positions from the university’s income. Moreover, a proposal to merge these positions permanently within the university has also been sent, but the immediate registrar rejected this proposal and took action against those employees and officials who suggested such an approach.
The matter of preserving jobs by funding from the institution’s income arises, questioning whether terminated sponsored projects can be sustained through the institution’s income. If it can be done, then why was this project funded in this manner and not other projects, and was permission sought from the state government and the state finance department to provide funding?
Up until now, approximately ₹8,00,000 from the institution’s income has been allocated to sustain the terminated project and preserve jobs. The question arises as to who will compensate for this, and why were such decisions made, especially when they are against beneficiaries.
This indicates an ongoing struggle against corruption and discrimination.
This news raises five key questions:
1. Why was university money given to a non-governmental publication?
Recruitment Scam:
2.Why did they write a misleading letter to the governor and accept resignation without an inquiry because the Vice-Chancellor himself was implicated?
3. Why was funding given from the university to benefit a specific individual, even after the termination of a project?
4. Why was recovery made from pensions without giving pensioners a lump sum, especially when they themselves are beneficiaries?
5. Why was around ₹17,00,000 (17 lacs) spent on Abvp affiliated with agrivision event in December 2021, which was related to student fees?”
When Dr. H.K. Chaudhary was apprised of these pertinent facts on whatsapp and the alleged allegations, and a request for clarification was extended to him, he failed to respond within the stipulated timeframe, which was until 1 pm. Consequently, the news article was published without incorporating his comments or input on the matter.
