IAS and IPS Officers from Himachal Pradesh Deployed for Election Duty in Five States

Twenty IAS (Indian Administrative Service) and ten IPS (Indian Police Service) officers from Himachal Pradesh will be deployed on election duty. Assembly elections are scheduled to take place in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, and Telangana. The election process will run from November 7th to November 30th in these five states. Starting from October 19th, IAS officers from the state will begin their deployment. The Election Commission has assigned duties to these officials. Information regarding which officer will go to which state is being provided separately to the government by the Commission.

Among the IAS officers assigned to election duty are Nandita Gupta, C. Palrasu, Priyatu Mandal, Dr. R.K. Pruthi, Vinod Kumar, Sudesh Kumar Mokta, Sandeep Kumar, Raghaved Thakur, D.C. Negi, Gopal Chand, Kamal Kant Saroch, Neeraj Kumar, Rohit Jambal, Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Ram Kumar Gautam, Pankaj Roy, Pradeep Thakur, Vinay Singh, Harbans Singh Bresakon, and Reema Kashyap. The IPS officers assigned to election duty include J.P. Singh, Dr. D.K. Chaudhary, Gurdev Chand, Anupam Sharma, Rohit Malpani, Dr. Kushal Chand Sharma, Dr. Ramesh Chandra Chhajta, Devakar Sharma, Dr. Monika, and Bhagat Singh. All these officers will be deployed under different schedules. During their election duty, these officials will be entrusted with additional responsibilities, which will be allocated to other officers.
