Emphasizing its timeliness, Kumar highlighted the unit’s importance in catering to the pressing needs of patients. Additionally, former MLA Praveen Kumar attended the event, expressing gratitude and admiration towards Dr. Bhardwaj for addressing this significant healthcare requirement. On this occasion, during his interaction with India Reporter Today’s Editor in Chief Rajesh Suryavanshi, Shanta Kumar lauded Gokul Butail, the Chief Advisor to the CM and Cabinet Minister, for his proactive efforts aimed at transforming Palampur into a vibrant tourist destination.

Kumar expressed his admiration for Gokul Butail’s visionary steps, asserting that if the recommendations made by Butail were embraced by the Sukhu government, nearly half of Himachal Pradesh could evolve into a sought-after tourist hotspot.

He commended the ruling Sukhu government for its commitment to expanding tourist destinations across Himachal Pradesh.

Highlighting specific initiatives, Kumar mentioned the construction of the one-crore Kandi bridge as a strategic move to enhance tourism.

He emphasized the potential impact of a proposed toy train in Saurabh Van Vihar, suggesting that the addition of a ropeway could further amplify tourist footfall.

Praising the Congress-led Sukhu government’s endeavors to boost tourism, Kumar emphasized the transformative potential these efforts held for Palampur and a significant portion of Himachal Pradesh. He urged Gokul Butail to prioritize and expedite the ropeway project, citing its potential to create job opportunities, increase revenue streams, and catapult Himachal Pradesh into a realm of self-reliance and prosperity.

Kumar’s sentiments echoed a collective aspiration to leverage tourism as a catalyst for economic growth, underlining the importance of swift and strategic execution of innovative projects like the ropeway to harness the state’s inherent potential and carve a path towards sustained development.
