Rajesh Suryavanshi, the Editor-in-Chief of HR Media Group and National Chairman of SHMAC, has raised an alarm regarding the unauthorized access and misuse of his mobile number. In a letter to Superintendent of Police Ms. Shalini Agnihotri in District Kangra, Dharamshala, H.P., Suryavanshi detailed how his mobile number was hacked, with his profile picture replaced by an unidentified female on various social media platforms.
The individual behind this breach has been conducting illegal activities using Suryavanshi’s mobile number, exploiting unsuspecting individuals by deceiving them with offers and defrauding them of significant sums of money, totaling lakhs of rupees. Suryavanshi has enclosed a recorded message as evidence of these wrongful activities.
Expressing deep concern about the misuse of his identity and the criminal actions carried out under his name, Suryavanshi urged swift action from the cybercrime cell to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
He emphasized the need for stringent legal proceedings to prevent further damage and ensure justice prevails.
Suryavanshi’s plea for prompt attention and action in addressing this matter underscores the urgency of safeguarding against cybercrime and preserving individual identities from unlawful exploitation.
