On his first day in office, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu made a significant request to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister Sukhu also congratulated Jagat Prakash Nadda on taking the oath as a member of the central cabinet. He noted that Nadda is well-acquainted with the challenging geographical conditions of Himachal Pradesh and expressed hope that Nadda would work towards fulfilling the developmental demands of the state’s people.

It is worth mentioning that Jagat Prakash Nadda had previously served as the Health Minister in Modi’s first government, during which time Himachal Pradesh benefitted from the establishment of an AIIMS. With Nadda once again part of the Modi government, there are high hopes for accelerated development in Himachal Pradesh.
