Mrs. Kamlesh Thakur, thank you for joining us today. As you contest for the MLA seat in the Dehra constituency, can you share your Vision for Dehra?

Kamlesh Thakur

Thank you, Rajesh. My vision for Dehra is to transform it into a hub of development and prosperity. People of DEHRA have been neglected for too long, and it’s time to bring real change.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: Dehra has struggled with basic amenities for years. What are your plans to address these issues?

Kamlesh Thakur

We plan to tackle the water shortage, improve healthcare facilities, and create job opportunities for the youth. My husband, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Thakur, has assured full financial support to ensure these plans are implemented effectively. 

Mrs. Kamlesh Thakur said the Agriculure will be her priority as each household is engaging in agriculture profession in one or the other way. She would bring and revive those schemes which were being in existence by CSKHPKV Palampur in earlier times of congress regime but stopped by BJP govt

Rajesh Suryavanshi: The previous independent MLA, Hoshiarpur Singh, resigned after just 14 months. What are your thoughts on this?

Kamlesh Thakur

It was a betrayal to the voters of Dehra. Hoshiarpur Singh joined the BJP for personal gain, causing financial strain and forcing a by-election. This act of deceit has left the people disillusioned.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: How do you plan to restore the trust of the voters?

Kamlesh Thakur

By being transparent and committed to my promises. I will ensure that every developmental project is executed with the people’s needs in mind. My focus is on long-term benefits, not short-term gains.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: Can you elaborate on your development projects?

Kamlesh Thakur

 We will focus on infrastructure development, such as roads and public transportation. Additionally, we plan to establish skill development centers to empower the youth and create employment opportunities.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: What about healthcare?

Kamlesh Thakur

 Healthcare is a top priority. We will improve existing healthcare facilities and ensure that medications are available to all. Mobile health units will be introduced to reach remote areas.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: How do you intend to tackle unemployment?

Kamlesh Thakur

By attracting investments and setting up industries in Dehra. We will also support local businesses and startups, providing them with the necessary resources to grow.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: Education is crucial for development. What are your plans in this sector?

Kamlesh Thakur

We will upgrade the infrastructure of schools and colleges, provide scholarships, and ensure quality education for all children. Education is the foundation of a progressive society.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: Dehra has a rich cultural heritage. How do you plan to promote it?

Kamlesh Thakur

We will organize cultural festivals and events to promote Dehra’s heritage. Tourism infrastructure will be developed to attract visitors and boost the local economy.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: Can you comment on the role of women in your plans?

Kamlesh Thakur

Empowering women is essential. We will provide skill development programs and ensure their active participation in all sectors. Women’s safety and health will be prioritized.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: How will you ensure the transparency of your administration?

Kamlesh Thakur

 By implementing e-governance and setting up citizen feedback systems. Regular audits and public meetings will keep the administration accountable.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: What message do you have for the voters of Dehra?

Kamlesh Thakur

I urge the voters to support me in this journey towards development. Together, we can overcome the challenges and build a prosperous Dehra.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: The BJP has fielded Hoshiarpur Singh against you. How do you view this competition?

Kamlesh Thakur

The voters have seen his true colors. He cannot be trusted again. My focus is on positive development, while he represents deceit and betrayal.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: How do you plan to utilize the support from your husband, the Chief Minister?

Kamlesh Thakur

His experience and influence will be invaluable. We will ensure that Dehra receives the necessary funds and administrative support to implement our plans effectively.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: What specific infrastructure projects do you have in mind?

Kamlesh Thakur

We will develop roads, bridges, and public transport. Additionally, we plan to enhance digital infrastructure to make Dehra a smart constituency.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: How do you intend to address the issue of water scarcity?

Kamlesh Thakur

By implementing water conservation projects, building new reservoirs, and upgrading existing water supply systems. Clean and sufficient water for all is a priority.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: What will be your immediate focus if elected?

Kamlesh Thakur

My immediate focus will be on addressing the basic amenities, healthcare, and unemployment. Quick wins in these areas will set the foundation for long-term development.

Rajesh Suryavanshi: Finally, what makes you confident that you will win this by-election?

Kamlesh Thakur

The people of Dehra are ready for change. They have suffered enough and are looking for a leader who can bring real development. I am committed to serving them with honesty and dedication.
