*DTO Kangra calls for open dialogue on Nikshay Divas*

A workshop with youth was held at Zonal Hospital Dharamshala to Mark Nikshay Divas. This is held on 24th of every month to improve awareness among community and mobilise community support for the cause of #EndTB, this was stated by Dr RK Sood Distt Health Officer cum Distt TB Officer on the occassion.
The patient’s room and utensils need not be kept separate, as person on treamtent does not transmit infection.
Just like COVID, TB depends on immunity, and person with malnutrition, tobacco users, diabetics, cancer patients are at higher risk of getting sick with TB.
All discussed about how to support persons with TB including psychosocial support provided by Nikshay Mitras.
All District Programme Officers and Consultants of CMO Office, Staff of Distt TB Centre, Staff of DISHA, ICTC DSRC, interacted with volunteers in this workshop.
Youth also joined the social media campaign for #TBMuktBharat
