HPTDC Seeks Public Input to Boost Financial Health and Tourism Services
The Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC), a key player in the state’s tourism sector since 1972, is calling on the public for suggestions to enhance its financial performance.
Renowned for its comprehensive tourism services, HPTDC operates a vast network of 56 hotels with 1,111 rooms and 64 restaurants and cafes, offering diverse cuisine, including traditional Himachali dishes. The corporation’s properties are strategically situated in scenic locations across the state.
In a bid to strengthen its financial management, the Government of Himachal Pradesh has constituted a special committee as per Notification No. TSM-E-6/2024 dated 16th October 2024. The committee is chaired by Sh. Tarun Shridhar, IAS (Retd.), with Dr. Rajiv Kumar, IAS, Managing Director of HPTDC, serving as its Secretary.
HPTDC is inviting residents, stakeholders, and all interested parties to share their innovative ideas and suggestions to improve the corporation’s financial practices and operations. The aim is to incorporate fresh perspectives to take the organization to new heights.
Suggestions can be submitted via email at suggestions.hptdc@gmail.com. Contributors are encouraged to be as detailed as possible in outlining their ideas. Each submission will be thoroughly reviewed, as the committee strives to build a more financially resilient future for HPTDC.
