World Honeybee Day was celebrated

World Honeybee Day was celebrated through virtual mode. Addressing over 200 participants, Chief Guest Prof H K Chaudhary the VC of the university said that efforts will be made to upgrade 84 years old Bee Research Station, Nagrota Bagwan as ‘Bee Heritage Farm’ equipped with all modern facilities.
It is worth mentioning here that professor H K Chaudhary has initiated action to boost up the research and extension activities at research stations of University spread all over the state, which will ultimately benefit the farmers of various regions of the state. It is a matter of proud to the people of Himachal that HP Agriculture University Palampur has been ranked 14th among all farm Universities and ICAR institutes in India ,it is ICAR accredited and ISO 9001 2008 certified institute.
