Prof Harinder Kumar Chaudhary , Vice Chancellor held a meeting with the Registrar, Deans, Directors, Assoc. Directors of Research Stations and Programme Coordinators of KVKs through virtual mode today.He directed all concerned to plan research and extension education activities involving scientists with a report to him.He asked the Directors to discuss and resolve problems of out stations and KVKs on priority so that on going research and extension activities get impetus.The Vice-Chabcellor advised that research proposals should also be submitted to the district administration of Kinnaur,L&S and Chamba by respective stations in these districts.He suggested projects on seed multiplication, minor millet improvement,etc.Prof Chaudhary said that after the improvement in situation, he would visit all tribal stations to get first hand information about the on going programmes there.
The Vice-Chancellor asked all scientists to work in teams for the welfare of farming community and make online system as an integral part of their working.All participants provided feedback about their offices, directorates, colleges, research stations and KVKs.
