No. 3788 SK/DM ORDER UNDER SECTION 34 OF THE DISASTER MANAGEMENT ACT-2005

In compliance to the order no. Rev(DMC) (C) 20-2/2020-COVID 19, Dated 24th September, 2021, issued by worthy Chief Secretary-cum-Chairperson, State Executive Committee, Himachal Pradesh and in continuation to this office order no. 3778 SK/DM. Dated 21th September, 2021, 1, Dr. Nipun Jindal, District Magistrate, Kangra at Dharamshala in exercise of the powers vested in me under section 34 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, do hereby order and direct that:

All Government and Private schools operating within the jurisdiction of District Kangra are allowed to open from Class 9th onwards w.e.f. 27th September, 2021. In order to ensure adherence with the Covid safety protocols and social distancing norms the schools shall operate in a staggered manner to avoid congestion and crowding subject to strict compliance with the SOPs issued by the Education Department of Himachal Pradesh.

Compliance to this order shall be ensured by Superintendent of Police, Kangra, all Sub Divisional Magistrates, Kangra, Deputy Director, Higher Education, Deputy Director Elementary Education, Kangra, Any obstruction, resistance or refusal by any officer, official or any other person to comply with the directions as aforesaid shall render such person liable to prosecution under sections 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act, 2005.
