24th Day of Protest of teachers at CSKHPKV
Today, Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University Teachers Association (HPAUTA) and Veterinary and Animal Science Teachers Associations ( VASTA) of CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyala Palampur observed protest in the front of Administrative Block from 1.30 to 2.00 pm for implementation of 7th UGC pay scale in the universities and colleges of state.
Teachers were wearing black badge from 10am to 5pm.
Dr Janardan Singh shared the updates including constitution of high powered committe for looking the issue of 7th UGC pay scale. He also told that we will have to intensify our protest if agenda item of 7th ugc pay scale is not considered in forthcoming cabinet meeting.
Members of associations including Dr Poonam, Dr N K Sankhyan, Dr Amit Kumar, Dr DK Banyal also expressed their views regarding further course of action. It was also decided that venue of protest will be different including college of basic sciences, college of community sciences, college of agriculture, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and Administrative Block.
During the 24th Day of Protest, executive members including Dr Janardan Singh, Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Ajay Katoch, Dr Dhanbir Singh, Dr Rakesh Kumar, Dr Amit Kumar and Dr Atul Gupta were present.
