Cabinet Minister Yadvinder Goma Criticizes BJP in an Exclusive Interview at Shimla with Editor-in-Chief Rajesh Suryavanshi
In an exclusive interview with Rajesh Suryavanshi, Editor-in-Chief of HR Media Group, Aayush & the Sports Cabinet Minister, H.P. Yadvinder Goma, expressed strong reservations about the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) political strategies.
The interview, conducted at minister”s office in Shimla’s Secretariat, touched upon several key issues.
Rajesh Suryavanshi : Yadvinder Gona, What is your take on the BJP’s attempt to patent Lord Ram?
Yadvinder Goma :
The BJP’s attempt to patent Lord Ram is a blatant misuse of faith for political gains. Lord Ram is a symbol of devotion for everyone, and trying to claim ownership is against the essence of our diverse and inclusive culture.
Rajesh Suryavanshi : Yadvinder Goma, you mentioned BJP’s temple cleanliness drive. Could you elaborate on your criticism?
Yadvinder Goma:
The BJP leaders engaged in superficial temple cleanliness acts before consecration ceremonies, but now, there’s a noticeable lack of commitment to ongoing maintenance. It raises questions about the sincerity behind their spiritual endeavors.
Rajesh Suryavanshi : You spoke about unfulfilled promises. Can you provide examples and your perspective?
Yadvinder Goma :
Absolutely. The 15 lakh rupees promise and the commitment to bring back black money from Swiss Bank are classic examples. These were major assurances made to the public, but they remain unfulfilled, revealing a pattern of deceit.
Rajesh Suryavanshi: Yadvinder Goma, you mentioned BJP aligning with terrorists in 2019. Can you elaborate on that claim?
Yadvinder Goma:
During the Pulwama attack, BJP played politics aligning with terrorists, using the situation for their political benefit. It’s a concerning trend that puts opportunism over national interest.
Rajesh Suryavanshi : Can you address the BJP’s misinformation campaign, particularly about Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the Ram temple?
Yadvinder Goma :
Certainly. Mr. Rahul Gandhi attempted to visit the Ram temple, but he was obstructed. The BJP’s claim that he never went is a distortion of facts and part of their misinformation tactics.
Rajesh Suryavanshi : What message do you want to convey to the public ahead of the elections?
Yadvinder Goma :
Be discerning. Look beyond political theatrics and evaluate parties based on their actions, not just promises. Don’t fall for misinformation. BJP’s attempts to associate with Lord Ram shouldn’t distract from their track record. Evaluate their actions critically.
