Do you know your CSD Card is expired, Canteen smart cards automatically stop working

Many of our Veterans not aware when their CSD card validity expires.
Canteen smart cards automatically stop working after 10 years from the Date of Issued. So friends its very easier to find out the date of issued.
The date of issue is on the card itself. Please check the card number in bold. After the two alphabets the next two numerals are date, next two are month and next two are year. FOR example
*GB06041592591600T00*
06 is date 04 is month and 15 is 2015.
This card is issued on 06/04/2015 and its expires on 06/05/2025.
One can check from own card the date of issue and renewal due dates.
