Sealed Quotations Invited for Auction of Chhinj Mela Ground in Saliana

Panchrukhi, March 10, 2025: The office of the SDM-cum-Chairman, State Level Chinj Mela Committee Saliana Panchrukhi, has issued a short tender notice for the auction of the Chinj Mela Ground, Saliana. Interested parties and contractors are invited to submit sealed quotations for leasing the ground during the State Level Chinj Mela Saliana, scheduled to be held from March 28, 2025, to April 2, 2025.

The deadline for submitting quotations is March 15, 2025, by 12:00 PM. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3:00 PM in the chamber of the Tehsildar Panchrukhi in the presence of bidders.

Key Terms and Conditions:

1. Quotations submitted without earnest money will be rejected immediately.
2. Bidders must deposit an earnest money amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- via cheque, demand draft, or cash in favor of SDM-cum-Chairman, State Level Chinj Mela Committee Saliana Panchrukhi.
3. The base auction price for the ground has been set at Rs. 28,00,000/-.
4. The successful bidder must deposit 50% of the bid amount on March 15, 2025. The remaining amount must be deposited by March 27, 2025, before 12:00 PM.
5. Failure to deposit 50% of the bid amount will result in forfeiture of the earnest money.
6. The successful bidder must execute an agreement within one day of the auction.
7. A minimum of five shops must be provided to the Mela Committee by the successful bidder.
8. A mechanical certificate for amusement rides (Jhulas, etc.) must be obtained from the Assistant Engineer PWD (Mechanical), Palampur.
9. The bidder is responsible for maintaining cleanliness during and after the mela.
10. All necessary permits and licenses must be secured by the successful bidder.
11. The applicant must have prior experience in organizing similar melas and must provide proof of previous agreements.
12. The Mela Committee reserves the right to cancel any or all quotations without providing a reason.
