Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, who has been receiving treatment for a mild pancreatic infection at the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) in Shimla, is expected to return to his official duties within the next two days. The Chief Minister was given the green light by AIIMS New Delhi after seeking a second opinion.
Chief Minister Sukhu was admitted to IGMC Shimla for treatment and was reportedly recovering well from the mild pancreatic infection, which was under control.
However, due to concerns expressed by his near and dear ones, as well as family members, he was flown to AIIMS New Delhi for a second medical evaluation.
Sources at AIIMS New Delhi have confirmed that Chief Minister Sukhu is now in stable condition and that he will be discharged soon. The medical team at AIIMS provided their expert guidance, and it is believed that the Chief Minister’s visit to the prestigious medical institution was purely precautionary.
