Dr. Vinay Mahajan promoted

On the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh is pleased to order promotion of the following Deputy Director/Medical Superintendent to the post of Joint Director of Health Services on regular basis in the Pay Band of Rs.37,400-67000+ G.P. 8700 NPA as admissible under the rules, with immediate effect

1. Dr. Archana Soni, Deputy Director, Health Services Shimla

2. Dr. Vinay Mahajn, Medical Superintendent, CH Palampur, Kangra

3. Dr. Ambika Chauhan, Medical Superintendent, KNH Shimla

4. Dr. Devender Dutt Sharma, Deputy Director, Health Services, Shimla.

The Governor, Himachal Pradesh is further pleased to order the postings of above mentioned officers upon promotion, in the Directorate of Health Services, HP, Shimla-9.

Dr. Archana Soni, shall continue to hold the additional Charge of the post of Project Director (AIDS), HP State AIDS Control Society, Shimla in addition to her own duties.

The above promotions shall be subject to final outcome of the T.A. No.1343/2015 in CWP No. 5228/2014 titled Devinder Dutt Sharma Vs. State of HP, CWP No.1502/08 titled “Dr.Daleep Singh Kanwar Vs State of H.P and ors., & CWP No. 53/2009 titled “Dr.M.K. Sharma & Dr.Shashi Pal Singh” Vis State of H.P. and CWP No. 10433/2012 titled “Dr. Yashwant Verma” Vis State of HP pending in the Hon’ble High Court.

The above officers shall be entitled to exercise their options for pay fixation under saving clause of F.R.22(1)(a)(i) within a period of one month.
