A WhatsApp group has been created for patients placed in the home isolation of Covid-19. In this group, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chief Medical Officer, District Health Officer, District Covid-19 Survey Officer, Medical Officer and patients placed in home isolation will be included.
Giving information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Una Raghav Sharma said that the objective of this group is to provide better facilities to the patients placed in home isolation in Covid-19 and to evaluate those facilities. Also patients will be able to give their feedback in the group. For the convenience of patients kept in home isolation, they are being provided self-help manual, medicine kit, pulse oximeter.
DC said that medical officers, health workers, ASHA workers regularly inquire about patients over the phone. The patient is given the mobile number of the medical officer, health worker, ASHA worker, so that he can call and tell his problem anytime. He requested all patients placed in home isolation to follow the necessary instructions.
