CSIR-IHBT Research Scholar organized “Student Seminar Series 2022-6 Edition” in Hybrid mode on the occasion of Teacher’s Day

The CSIR-IHBT Research Scholar organized “Student Seminar Series 2022-6 Edition” in Hybrid mode on the occasion of Teacher’s Day to celebrate birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

The ceremony was presided over by Honorable DG & Secretary, DSIR, Dr. N Kalaiselvl in the gracious presence of the Chief Guest Prof. S. P. Bansal, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Central University of Himachal Pradesh and Dr. Sanjay Kumar, the Director of the institute. In his opening remark Dr Sanjay Kumar, highlighted the importance of the day and mentioned the dynamic transformation and relevance of the seminar theme on “Vigyanam: Discover, Develop and Disseminate Science of Bloresources” in the current scenario. The ceremony was also graced by presence of alumni of the CSIR-IHBT making remarkable impact on various scientific fronts, globally.

This year overwhelmed response was received in the various events including Oral, Poster, e Poster, SWAR, MEME, photography, and videography. More than 500 participants including scientists, students, start-ups and entrepreneurs have attended the event and benefitted by the deliberations.

The event was witnessed with PAN India & Global participation from various institutions, including University of Purdue, USA, Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, NIPGR, RCB, NIPER, IARI, Amity University, UAS Bangalore, CSIR-IIIM, YSPUHF, Shoolini university, and various DBT, CSIR and ICAR institutes.

The event was widely disseminated virtually through MS Teams with global presence.
