25th Day of Protest of teachers at CSKHPKV
All the members of Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University Teachers Association (HPAUTA) and Veterinary and Animal Science Teachers Associations ( VASTA) of CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyala Palampur were on protest in front of the College of Basic Sciences from 1.30 to 2.00 pm.
Teachers want immediate implementation of 7th UGC pay scale in the universities and colleges of the state.
7th UGC pay scale has already been implemented in almost every state.
Teachers were wearing black badge from 10am to 5pm.
Dr Geetanjali Singh addressed the members and shared her views regarding further course of action.
Dr Janardan Singh, President updated members and shared the feedback received from the Member Secretary of Joint Action Committee. He also apprised members regarding discussion held between hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Chief Minister, shri Jai Ram Thakur ji today regarding implementation of UGC pay scale. Our hon’ble Vice Chancellor told us that he was very positive and he assured that 7th UGC pay scale has to be given soon.
Executive members of both associations including Dr Janardan Singh, Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Dhanbir Singh, Dr Ajay Katoch, Dr Rakesh Kumar, Dr Amit Singhla and Dr Atul Gupta handed over the memorandum to hon’ble Vice-Chancellor for further forwarding to Chief Minister for immediate implementation of 7th UGC pay scale.
Dr Janardan Singh, Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Ajay Katoch, Dr Dhanbir Singh, Dr Rakesh Kumar, Dr Amit Kumar and Dr Atul Gupta were present during the protest held today.
