One month training at Taiwan for three Research Scholars from CSKHPAU: Ms. Payal, Ms. Shristi and Ms. Alisha Thakur, Ph.D research scholars from CSK H.P. Agriculture University will get one month training at Taiwan.

Disclosing this, Prof. H. K. Chaudhary, Vice-Chancellor told the National Agricultural Higher Education Project, Centre for Advanced Agricultural Science and Technology(CAAST) on Protected Agriculture and Natural Farming in the University has sponsored these research scholars to undergo training at World Vegetable Centre, Taiwan. These scholars from the Department of Vegetable Science and Floriculture will get acquainted with new areas of research topics pertaining to molecular vegetable breeding and will also get familiar with the world’s largest public gene bank. The Vice-Chancellor told that they will work under the guidance of Dr. Roland Schafleitner, Head, Molecular Genetics- cum- Flagship Program Leader, Vegetable Diversity and Improvement from 1 October to 31 October 2022.
On the eve of their departure, Prof Chaudhary interacted with these Ph.D. scholars and advised them to experience the state of art facilities to augment their Ph.D. Research work.
Dr.D.R. Chaudhary, Head, Dr. Ranbir Singh Rana, Principal Investigator of National Agricultural Higher Education Project in the University and Dr. Parveen Sharma, students’ advisor told that the research scholars have been selected based on their research problems on molecular genetics. Dr.D.K.Vatsa, Dean, College of Agriculture and Dr Suresh Gautam, Dean, PG Studies were present on the occasion.
