14th Day of Teachers’ Protest for implementation of 7th UGC pay scale in the state

All the teachers of four constituent colleges, CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishwavidyala, Palampur were on protest from 1.30 to 2.00pm. It was 14th Day of Teachers’ Protest for implementation of 7th UGC pay scale in the state.

A meeting of All Himachal University and College teachers joint action committee was held on 1st June 2022.
After thorough deliberation, it was decided that A Press Conference of Joint Action Committee will be organised at Shimla on 3rd June 2022 at 3pm. It was also decided that some executive members of JAC will meet with hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Jai Ram Thakur ji on 5th June 2022 during his visit to HP University campus for immediate implementation of UGC pay scale since 1st January 2016.
It was also decided that all the executive members of joint action committee will take time from CM office and will be meeting with him accordingly.

We are wearing our black badge through out the office time.

Further course of action will be decided in the forthcoming Joint Action Committee.

During the protest, Executive Members of HPAUTA and VASTA expressed their views regarding implementation of UGC pay scale.
