ORDER UNDER SECTION 144 Cr.P.C.

In compliance to order no. Rev (DMC)(C) 20-2/2021-COVID 19-III, Dated 11th June, 2021, issued by the Chief Secretary-cum-Chairperson, State Executive Committee, Himachal Pradesh and in welfare of the public at large, I, Rakesh Kumar Prajapati, IAS, District Magistrate, Kangra at Dharamshala in exercise of the powers conferred in me under section 144 of Cr. PC, do hereby order and direct to extend the “Corona Curfew” and all the exemption and restrictions imposed vide order no. 2866, dated 06th June, 2021 shall remain intact except following mentioned amendments:

a. All markets/shops can open from Monday to Friday for Eight Hours (From 9AM to 5PM) but will remain closed on Saturdays & Sundays however the shops dealing with items of daily need Such as fruits, vegetables, milk, milk products, Fair price shops, ration shops, dairy products, confectionery, bread, eggs, chicken, meat and other uncooked food items shall be allowed to be open on weekends for three hours Le from 9AM to 12 PM. The shopkeepers and buyers shall ensure compliance with COVID-19 appropriate behavior and safety protocols issued by the Centre and State Government time to time and the directions shall stand amended in section-1 of the Amended Category

of order no. 1816-70 SK/DM, Dated 09th May, 2021. b. Chemist stores, pharmaceutical, pharmacies shall be allowed to open in normal timings.

c. All the stand-alone offices with strength of upto 4 employees shall remain open with full strength and other offices of Government Department/PSUS/ local bodies/autonomous bodies will operate with 50% attendance till further orders. The Head of Department/Head of Offices shall take the decision on actual roaster as per their requirements. All offices shall ensure compliance of COVID-19 appropriate behavior and safety protocols in the work place by the employees as well as visitors. The employees with disability, pregnant women shall however be not asked to attend offices and continue to work from home. All employees not in roster shall be available on call at short notice if required by Head of Office.

d. Medical colleges, Ayurvedic colleges & Dental Colleges will be allowed to re open from 23.06.2021. Nursing & pharmacy colleges will be allowed to re open from 28.06.2021. Detailed guidelines and SOPs in this regard will be issued by Health department. All other educational, training and coaching institutions etc. shall continue to remain closed till further orders. e. All Social/academic/entertainment/cultural/religious/ political and other

congregations shall remain prohibited in the District till further orders. However, a maximum of 20 persons only will be allowed in gatherings related to marriages/funerals irrespective of location/venue. f. Tourism units will be opened and operated as per the SOPs issued by the

Department of Tourism from time to time and strict adherence to COVID-19

safety behavior will be ensured.
