DAV Public School Palampur Flourishes Under the Vision of Dr. V.K. Yadav…Making a Difference in the Lives of Students, Inspiring Young Minds, Mrs. P. Sofat & CPS Ashish Butail acted as Chief Guests in Annual Functions of DAV
Ashish Butail felicitated meritorious students at DAV Public School Palampur, stating that a model day-boarding school will be established in every assembly constituency. He highlighted the significant role of private educational institutions alongside government ones in the state, including DAV institutions.
Butail, a DAV school alumnus, commended students excelling in education and other activities.
He announced plans to establish Rajiv Gandhi Model Day-Boarding Schools in all constituencies, allocating 25 crore rupees for the construction.
Additionally, the government decided to provide tablets to over 17,000 primary school teachers in the state for tech-enabled teaching. Butail mentioned ongoing development projects in the Palampur constituency, including a digital library for students, costing around 1.5 crores. Former Assembly President Brij Bihari Lal Butail praised DAV School for delivering quality education and imparting moral values. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, councilors, and officials from different DAV schools.
Annual Day of JUNIOR WING
Earlier on January 17, D.A.V. Public School Palampur celebrated its Annual Function (Junior wing) in which Students presented various cultural items and cast a mesmerizing and enthralling effect on the audience.
The programme was organised under the effective guidance of the Principal Dr. V. K. Yadav. Mrs. P Sofat, sewa Member and Treasurer of DAV CMC – New Delhi, was the Chief Guest of the day.
The function was initiated with the welcome of the Chief Guest and lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
The audience was captivated with the very first item i.e. Saraswati Vandna. More than 700 students from the primary section presented various cultural items like – Semi-Classical, Haryanavi, Rajasthani, Bollywood, Patriotic and western dance forms.
The children gave the message of protecting natural resources by dancing based on the five elements of life. In the end of the programme the children performed energetic Bhangra.
On this occasion the Chief Guest Mrs P. Sofat appreciated the students and said that there is a need to enhance the talent among children. She encouraged the teachers and praised the able guidance of the Principal Dr. V.K. Yadav and urged the parents to spend more time with their wards.
At the end the Principal Dr. V. K. Yadav thanked the Chief Guest and all the other guests presented there.
