Teacher’s Protest entered 19th day for immediate implementation of 7th UGC pay scale : Dr. Janardan Singh, President

Teachers of HPAUTA and VASTA associations of Chaudhary Sarvan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyala Palampur remained on 19th Day protest during lunch time for immediate implementation of 7th UGC pay scale in the state.

Teachers have been wearing their black badge through out the office time.
Executive members of the teachers associations welcomed the assurance/ announcement for giving 7th UGC pay scale, made by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh on 8th June 2022.
During the protest, Dr Janardan Singh, Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Praveen Kumar Sharma, Dr Amit Singhla and Dr Pallavi Bhardwaj expressed their views regarding CM’s announcement for giving UGC pay scale.

Tonight there is a meeting of joint action committee of all universities and colleges teachers associations for deciding further course of action after CM’s announcement.

Dr Janardan Singh, President shared updates related to UGC scale recieved from the member secretary of joint action committee with the hon’ble members of HPAUTA and VASTA.
