In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and community support, Dr. Vinod Paul, the esteemed Member of Niti Ayog (Health), demonstrated his dedication to eradicating Tuberculosis (TB) by personally handing over a kit to a patient with Pulmonary Tuberculosis (PwTB) in Dharamshala today.
What makes this act even more remarkable is that Dr. Paul is a Nikshay Mitra, and he has chosen to adopt a PwTB patient from his own hometown in Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh.
Known for his humility and proactive approach to healthcare challenges, Dr. Paul’s presence at the event was a source of inspiration for all.
Alongside him, Dr. RK Sood, the District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO), Dr. Sushil Sharma, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Kangra, and the dedicated District Tuberculosis Control (DTC) Team were also present to extend their support.
