Editor-in-Chief of HR MEDIA GROUP Rajesh Suryavanshi and Chairman of the Mission Against Corruption Society, Himachal Pradesh has called for a serious approach to dealing with such miscreants, including those from opposition parties, who seek to damage the reputation of the people-friendly Chief Minister.
“The sanctity of journalism must be safeguarded,” Suryavanshi stated. “We must ensure that the truth prevails and that those who attempt to mislead the public are held accountable.
The government’s move to register FIRs against these malicious actors is a step in the right direction.”
The Mission Against Corruption Society, under the leadership of Suryavanshi, has been a vocal advocate for integrity and transparency in media. They have pledged their support to the government’s efforts in combating the spread of false information.
It is worth mentioning here that Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister (Media) Naresh Chauhan had recently announced that the government has taken strict cognizance of the false news being circulated against the Chief Minister on social media platforms.
Addressing the media, Chauhan had stated that instructions have been issued to register FIRs against individuals and channels spreading misinformation.
“For the last few days, false propaganda without facts is being spread on social media as part of a conspiracy to tarnish the image of the Chief Minister, which is unfortunate,” Chauhan emphasized. “The Chief Minister’s Office has directed that FIRs be registered against these elements and legal action be taken to stop the baseless propaganda.“
