खुल गया सब कुछ…This happens only in INDIA..Election Comes…COVID Goes… Schools Start….

Taking note of the present situation of COVID-19 in the State which shows gradual decrease in positivity rate and hospitalization, the undersigned in the capacity of the Chairman, State Executive Committee (SEC) in exercise of the powers conferred under section 22(2)(h) and section 24 of the Disaster Management Act 2005, hereby issue following directions:

1. All Educational Institutions are allowed to function as per their normal schedule w.e.f. 17.02.2022 with adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols.

2. Cinema Halls/Multiplex, Stadiums and Swimming Pools are allowed to function with strict adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols.

3. There shall be no exemptions for the persons with disability and pregnant women employees. They shall attend their offices in regular manner.

4. There shall be no restrictions on religious langars subject to strict adherence to the COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and safety protocols.

5. All social/ religious/ cultural/ political and other congregations including marriages are permitted up to 50% of the capacity in indoor built up/covered areas as well as in open spaces/ outdoor areas. There shall be strict observance of COVID-19 appropriate behavior and safety protocols during these congregations/gatherings.

All the Departments and Organisations of the Government, District Magistrates, Police Officers/Officials and Local Authorities of the State are directed to ensure strict compliance with the directions of the SEC ibid.

Penal Provisions:

Any person violating these measures and not following COVID appropriate behavior will be liable to be proceeded against as per the provision of Section 51-60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides entailing legal action under Section 188 of the IPC, and other legal provisions as applicable.

This Order will come into effect immediately unless otherwise specified above and shall remain in force till further order.
