The First State Level Him Opticon Optometry Conference Held in Rotary Eye Hospital Maranda, Palampur
The first Him Opticon Optometry Conference in Himachal Pradesh was successfully organized at the Rotary Eye Hospital in Maranda. More than 100 representatives from across the state participated.
This conference, named “Him Opticon Optometry Conference,” took place on Saturday at Palampur’s Mela Mal Sud Rotary Eye Hospital.
Dr. K.S. Sharma, Chief Ophthalmic Officer told that the purpose of this one-day conference is to provide insight into optometry science and promote innovations in quality eye care for the betterment of society.
Dr. Sudhir Salotra, the organizing chairman of the conference, emphasized the importance of this event, stating that there is a lack of quality eye care in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Therefore, through this conference, participants can share their knowledge and bring about significant changes in the lives of common people.
The conference featured two sessions in which representatives from outside the state and local hospital delegates presented their knowledge-enhancing papers. They also shared insights into the latest and modern techniques in optometry.
