On February 23, 2025 (Sunday), Shri Butail will embark on his journey from Palampur at 9:00 AM and is scheduled to reach IIT Mandi, Kamand, HP at 12:30 PM via road. His visit to IIT Mandi is of high significance as he will be the Guest of Honour at the prestigious ‘Ideas Matter Most’ talk show, an insightful event organized by IIT Mandi in collaboration with Hindustan Times. His presence at the event is expected to inspire students, researchers, and innovators to harness technology for the betterment of society.
Following the event, Shri Butail will stay overnight at IIT Mandi, marking a significant engagement with academia and research professionals.
On February 24, 2025 (Monday), at 10:30 AM, he will attend the Foundation Day Function of IIT Mandi, where the Hon’ble Union Defence Minister will be the Chief Guest. His participation in the function highlights the strong synergy between governance, academia, and national leadership, promoting research and innovation in Himachal Pradesh.
Post the Foundation Day celebrations, Shri Butail will depart from IIT Mandi, Kamand at 3:00 PM and is expected to arrive in Chandigarh by 7:30 PM via road. He will stay overnight in Chandigarh before proceeding with further engagements, which will be communicated separately.
