In a short span of two years, the state government has transferred the fourth commissioner in the Municipal Corporation of Solan. Due to frequent change of officers, the work of the corporation is getting affected.
At the same time, the transfer policy of the government is not understood by the common people. Due to this many people have also started expressing anger in this regard that the officer should not be transferred so soon.

The first commissioner of Municipal Corporation Solan was Prashant Sarkai. After this LR Verma took charge, but after only eight months he was transferred. After this, Rajiv Kumar was made the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Solan. Young officer Rajiv Kumar did many excellent works in the Municipal Corporation.
The building owners who were doing illegal construction in Solan city were clamped down.
