Not even a single Covid -19 positive case among 240 hostellers: Vice-Chancellor Prof.H.K.Chaudhary expressed satisfaction on enforcement of Covid-19 guidelines in the University: Prof H.K.Chaudhary, Vice-Chancellor, CSK H.P. Agriculture University, has expressed his satisfaction that there was not even a single Covid-19 positive among the 240 hostellers in the University. He appreciated Dr.V.K.Gupta, Students’ Welfare Officer, and all wardens for strictly enforcing Covid-19 guidelines and asked them to keep the vigil high during a meeting held through virtual mode here today.
The Vice-Chancellor, after getting feedback about each hostel from the wardens, asked the Deans to make a surprise check, interact with students and resolve their day-to-day issues. He also asked wardens to visit hostels once or twice daily. Prof Chaudhary directed Estate Officers to carry on repair and other construction work at an enhanced pace to finish the work as per fixed deadlines. He said that hostel repair works should also be taken up immediately. He said that surprise check on night watchmen be made.
Registrar, SWO, all Deans, Estate Officer, and hostel wardens attended the virtual meeting.
