New Dhauladhar Public School Palampur celebrates 53rd Statehood Day with full enthusiasm
53rd Statehood Day of Himachal Pradesh was celebrated with full enthusiasm and patriotism.
Science exhibition also attracted the distinguished guests and dignitaries.
Mr. Suresh Jamwal (Principal retd.) the Chief Guest of the function congratulated all on Statehood Day and threw light on the importance of this special day.
He applauded the role of this school to nurture the future of thousands of students so far. Mr. Jamwal having excellent army and academic background said while briefing various ups and downs of his career lauded the role of students and inspired them to work hard and strengthen the nation with their glorious contribution and bring laurels to their parents, teachers and school.
Mrs. Promila Narang, Principal retd and guest of honour, highlighted the importance of Statehood Day and advised the students to participate wholeheartedly in all the academic and co-curricular activities of the school.
She praised Mrs. Praveen Sharma, Chairman, for her overall efforts to take the school to new heights of progress and development.
She shared her tough and immemorable moments and experiences while serving in remotest areas of the state, walking 9 kilometres on foot to perform her duties.
Guest of honour Mrs. Promila Narang and Mrs. Smriti Suryavanshi also played the role of worthy judges.
Mr. Rajesh Suryavanshi, Editor-in-Chief, HR Media Group, while addressing the students threw light on the importance of Full Statehood Day of Himachal Pradesh.
He said that It was on this day on January 25, 1971 when our state came into existence and became the 18th state of Independent India. Earlier, it was a princely state.
Suryavanshi appreciated the role of the esteemed members of the management, Chairman Mrs. Praveen Sharma, Director-Mr. Varun Sharma, Principal – Mrs. Monika Sharma students, teachers and staff of New Dhauladhar Public School.
He said that in a short span of time, this school has touched new heights of excellence with the joint efforts of one and all.
He lauded the role of Mrs. Praveen Sharma, the Chairman of NDPS, to nurture the future of thousands of students as she did in NKSD Chand Public School, Ghuggar, Palampur where under her supremacy and dynamic leadership the school progressed by leaps and bounds and took the school to new heights, increasing the strength of students.
Rajesh Suryavanshi appreciated the role of students and teachers for presenting a wonderful performance on this auspicious occasion.
He also congratulated the school for celebrating its cultural bonanza amid patriotism great zest, vibrancy and elation. They gave colourful performances. He prayed from God for overall development of the school. He alongwith other speakers expressed hope that in near future the school would be upgraded to 10+2, by grace of Almighty.
Suryavanshi advised the students to use electronic gadgets with utmost care as unlimited use of these gadgets may ruin their life. He exhorted them to work hard to achieve their goals.
Meritorious students were also awarded on this occasion. Mrs. Praveen Sharma honoured the distinguished Guests with beautiful flowers and mementoes
The programme culminated with the National Anthem.
Wonderful Welcome song presented by tiny tots was enjoyed and praised by one and all. Mr. Dhiman from HP Secretariat also graced the occasion as special guest.
