No night curfew, functions’ gathering limited to 50%

In compliance to the directions passed by the Chief Secretary-cum-Chairperson, State Executive Committee, Himachal Pradesh vide order no. Rev (DMC) (C) 20-2/2022- COVID19-IV Dated 10/02/2022 and considering the present situation of Covid-19 in the District Kangra and in welfare of the public at large, 1, Dr. Nipun Jindal, Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority-cum-District Magistrate, Kangra in exercise of the powers vested in me under section 34 of the Disaster Management Act-2005 and in partial modification of the order no. 103 SK/DM, dated 31/01/2022 do hereby order and direct that:

1. There shall be no Night Curfew in District Kangra and all restrictions imposed in this regard shall be revoked.

2. All social/ religious/ cultural/ political and other congregations including marriages & funerals are permitted up to 50% of the capacity in indoor built up/covered areas as well as in open spaces/ outdoor. The organizers of the aforesaid gatherings shall ensure strict observance of COVID-19 appropriate behavior and safety protocols.

Compliance to this order shall be ensured by the Superintendent of Police, Kangra, all Sub Divisional Magistrates, Kangra, Chief Medical Officer, Kangra, all Executive Magistrates, Kangra, all Block Medical Officers, Kangra, and public at large. Violation of this order shall attract provisions of section 51-60 of Disaster Management Act, 2005 and the violator shall be prosecuted accordingly.
