Former President of Congress Sonia Gandhi and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra arrived in the capital Shimla on Tuesday. Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi are staying at their private residence in Charabra. They arrived in Shimla by flight from Chandigarh on Tuesday afternoon, and then travelled to Shimla by road from Chandigarh.
Both of them have a program to stay in Shimla for a few days.
It should be noted that the Shimla police have increased security in and around Chharabra and neighbouring areas.
Priyanka Gandhi has a beautiful house amidst the thick forests of Deodar trees near Kalyani Helipad in Charabra.
It is being reported that on Thursday, both of them have a program to visit the Nagalok Temple in Kandaghat.
It is worth mentioning that on August 25th, Sonia Gandhi also had a program to visit the Ramlok Temple, but due to heavy rainfall and subsequent damage, Sonia’s program to visit the Ramlok Temple was cancelled.”
During their visit, Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi are expected to engage in various political discussions and meetings with local party leaders and members.
