Protest March at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, CSKHPKV Palampur
Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University Teachers Association (HPAUTA) and Veterinary and Animal Science Teachers Associations ( VASTA) of CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyala Palampur observed 28th day of protest at College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences from 1.30 to 2.00 pm. Teachers were wearing black badge from 10am to 5pm. They also showed their protest by marching from Department of LPT to Main gate of College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, CSKHPKV Palampur.
Dr Janardan Singh, President, HPAUTA shared the latest developments occurred during 24 hrs including postponement of cabinet meeting to 25th June, observing protest march by HPU teachers and stopping all academic, research and extension activities 28th onwards, etc.
He further told that as per decision of joint action committee, teachers of CSKHPKV, Palampur will also follow the same course of action if agenda item of teachers 7th UGC pay scale is not considered in forthcoming cabinet meeting. Teachers are supposed to be present in the class but unfortunately they are observing protest/protest march on road due to non-seriousness of the Government.
Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Parveen Sharma, Dr Pallavi Bhardwaj, Dr Ashrani, Dr Poonam and others also expressed their view points regarding the latest developments related to UGC pay scale.
