In a significant development for the Sri Satya Sai Seva Organization’s humanitarian efforts in Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Roshan Raina has been appointed as the Zonal Coordinator for Palampur and the State Coordinator for Himachal Pradesh for the Narayan Sewa initiative.
This appointment comes as part of the organization’s mission to follow the path shown by Lord Baba and follows the guidelines set by State President Shri Yoginder Verma Ji.
The Manav Seva Madhav initiative has been diligently serving communities in every district of Himachal Pradesh, with Kangra district being subdivided into three zones: Palampur, Lanj, and Dehra. Shri Shesh Bhushan presides as the district president overseeing these zones, each operating under the guidance of a zonal coordinator.
Within the Palampur zone, where Mr. Roshan Raina takes on the role of Zonal Coordinator, there are 15 dedicated Sai Seva Samitis actively engaged in various community service activities. Recently, the Palampur zone carried out a commendable tree plantation drive, where 650 saplings of different varieties were planted in the forest land near Neel Kanth Mahadev in the village of Badhrena. Additionally, 26 saplings of diverse species were planted within the premises of the Government School in Mandi.
Furthermore, the committees within the Palampur zone have been proactive in organizing events that promote child development. Notably, they conducted a children’s essay competition, emphasizing the importance of nurturing young minds.
The Sri Satya Sai Seva Organization extends its commitment to the welfare of the community by regularly hosting various initiatives, including blood donation camps, medical camps, youth conferences, veterinary camps, and more.
