The theme for World Toilet Day 2021 is “Valuing Toilets”.
World Toilet Day is celebrated annually on 19 November to inspire action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and help achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6), which promises sanitation for all by 2030.
The Day was designated by the UN General Assembly on 24 July 2013 by resolution A/RES/67/291. Today rotary club of Dhauladhar celebrated international toilet day by honouring Mr. Sawroop chand who is a part time worker. This day should be celebrated for sustainable development of the world. On this occasion other members of club who grace the programme were Rtn YR Bakshi , Dr. Rakesh Chahota, Rtn Ajay sharma and Rtn Ashwani neural. Also international men,s day was also celebrated by rotary club of Dhauladhar Palampur today.
