Rotary club of Dhauladhar Palampur wishes on infantry day ie on 27.10.21
This was stated by president of rotary club of Dhauladhar Palampur Dr. Munish kumar saroch today that 1st Indian infantry soldiers took part in action to defend Indian territory from external aggression.
On same day is on October 26,1947 the then Maharaja of J&k, Shri Hari singh ji father of union minister karan singh and grand father of Ajatshatru singh owner of Taragarh palace htel signed the instrument of accession, making his erstwhile state of J & K a part of Indian dominion, and thus paving the way for Indian troops to be deployed in the state to fight against Pakistani invaders under control of Valabh bhai Patel home minister of India. But the Muslim commanders leading the contingent cheated the Dogra regiment soldiers and harmed us which lead to present situation.
