DGE Rtn. Dr. P.S. Grover (PHF) Lauds Deputy CMO for Timely Aid During Medical Emergency at Dharamshala Installation Function

In a commendable act of swift action and compassion,  DGE Rtn. Dr. P.S. Grover (PHF) expressed heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Dr. R.K. Sood, Deputy Chief Medical Officer (CMO), for his timely assistance during a medical emergency at the Rotary Club of Dharamshala’s installation function.

During the event, two Rotarian ladies suddenly began feeling faint and experienced vomiting spells due to suffocation in the crowded hotel hall. Recognizing the severity of the situation, Dr. R.K. Sood wasted no time and promptly rushed to their aid. Assessing the seriousness of their condition, he made the crucial decision to transfer them to Sonal Hospital, Dharamshala, for immediate medical attention.

At the hospital, Dr. Sood provided the ladies with sufficient time and cooperation, ensuring they received the best possible care. His expertise and dedication proved instrumental in stabilizing their condition and alleviating their discomfort.

Rtn. Dr. P.S. Grover, deeply moved by Dr. Sood’s selfless act, publicly praised his swift response and compassionate care during the crisis.

The incident serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of medical professionals’ presence during public events, as their quick intervention can make a life-saving difference.
