Google Shields Cybercriminals? Editor-in-Chief Rajesh Suryavanshi’s Email Hacked, Google Fails to Act!
Dharamshala | January 22, 2025 .. IRT News Network
In an alarming case of cybercrime, the official email ID of Editor-in-Chief Rajesh Suryavanshi, himachalreporter@gmail.com, was hacked on January 4, leading to the loss of vital social media accounts, bank credentials, and the News Time Reporter TV YouTube channel. Despite urgent recovery attempts, Google has shockingly refused to take swift action, exposing its blatant negligence and lack of accountability in tackling cyber threats.
After multiple failed recovery attempts, Suryavanshi personally approached the Cyber Crime Police in Dharamshala, lodging a written complaint. The cyber crime unit promptly escalated the case, formally requesting Google’s intervention. However, even after two long weeks, Google has failed to act, effectively siding with the hacker. The miscreant not only hijacked the account but also changed Suryavanshi’s registered mobile numbers, replacing them with his/her own ending in xxxxxxxx23 and 85. Every effort to regain access, as per Google’s own suggested methods, proved futile. Suryavanshi has strongly condemned Google’s lethargic and irresponsible approach to handling cybercrimes.
Google’s Indifference: A Green Light for Hackers?
Google, a tech giant that boasts about its security infrastructure, has shockingly displayed an appalling level of indifference and incompetence. Instead of safeguarding its users, the company’s inaction appears to embolden cybercriminals, setting a dangerous precedent for millions worldwide. If Google cannot protect its own users from cyber threats, how can anyone trust the platform’s security measures?
This incident raises critical concerns about Google’s ability and willingness to protect digital identities. Despite repeated complaints, the company’s failure to secure its platform against hackers is a glaring sign of its declining credibility. If Google continues to favor cybercriminals over legitimate users, it risks a mass exodus of trust from its services.
Google Must Act Now or Face Consequences
Rajesh Suryavanshi has strongly condemned Google’s inaction and demanded immediate, stern action against the hacker. He insists that Google must ban the cybercriminal, restore himachalreporter@gmail.com without delay, and revamp its broken security policies. The company’s blatant ignorance has not only caused irreparable damage but has also sent a chilling message to millions of users—that their data is not safe with Google.
If Google fails to act swiftly, it will be held accountable for facilitating cybercrimes. Cybersecurity is not a privilege but a fundamental right, and tech giants must be held to the highest standards. Will Google wake up from its deep slumber, or will it continue allowing hackers to operate freely under its nose? The world is watching.
