CSKHPKV Teachers’ Association meets Shanta Kumar, ex Chief Minister

Dr. Janardan Singh, President, HP Agriculture University Teachers Association, Palanpur told that our protest for immediate implementation of UGC scale will be continuing across all the colleges of the university. In the connection of ugc pay scale, we, Dr Janardan Singh, President and Dr Praveen Sharma, Vice President of HPAUTA and Dr Geetanjali Singh President and Dr Amit Kumar Singla, Vice President, VASTA met our beloved Shri Shanta Kumar Ji, former CM and MP today at 11am.

We briefed him about all the correspondences/ meetings held with Hon’ble Governor, Chief Minister, Education Minister, Agriculture Minister, Education Secretary, Finance Secretary, etc regarding implementation of 7th ugc scale in the Himachal Pradesh.

We also apprised him about financial burden due to implementation of ugc scale. It was also told that UGC scale has been implemented in all BJP led state Governments besides other states. He peaceful listened our issue and ensured that I will talk CM and tell him to implement the 7th UGC pay scale in Himachal Pradesh also as this is genuine demand of professors and other states have already implemented. Executive members extended thanks to him for considering the request.

Today also the members of both HPAUTA and VASTA associations gathered in front of Administration Block and showed their protest for immediate implementation of UGC pay scale across the State.
