Protest of teachers in CSKHPKV ramains continue till 30th June 2022

Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University Teachers Association (HPAUTA) and Veterinary and Animal Science Teachers Association ( VASTA) of CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyala Palampur also observed protest during lunch time from 1.30-2.00 pm for implementation of 7th UGC pay scale in the universities and colleges of state.During the working hours, all the teachers are wearing their black badge. This was the 22nd Day of the Protest.
Dr Janardan Singh briefed the decisions of meeting of
joint action committee (JAC) of all universities and colleges teachers associations held on 14th June at 5.45pm. In the meeting, Dr JS Saklani, Dr Janardan Singh, Dr RL Sharma, Dr SL Kaushal, Dr Arun Kumar, Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr RK Chahota, Dr Amit Kumar Singhla, Dr Rakesh Chauhan, Dr RK Bhardwaj and Dr Kuldeep were present, and every member expressed his/her view points. After thorough deliberation, it was unanimously decided that protest will remain continued besides presentation of memorandum to local ministers, MLAs and head of the institution till the outcome of forthcoming Cabinet Meeting. It was also decided that JAC can intensify their protest if outcome of the cabinet meeting is not positive.
Every association of JAC will implement the uniform decision in the institution. Every teacher will also express his/her views through Facebook regarding implementation of UGC pay scale.

During the 22nd Day of Protest, Dr Janardan Singh, Dr Geetanjali Singh, Dr Pawan Kr Sharma, Dr Varun Sankhyan, Dr Dhan bir Singh and Dr Subhash Verma expressed their view in the light of the decisions of Joint Action Committee. With the consent of hon’ble members of HPAUTA and VASTA associations, protest was extended till 30th June 2022.
